Here's a quick little project that I just completed. Can you guess what it is? Well, it's a cover for my sewing machine - or a sewing machine cozy to be exact! I made it out of a vintage embroidered tea towel I had picked up eons ago at an estate sale. I added linen fabric to create the side panels and also the sweet eyelet lace and rick-rack to the bottom and that is all there is to it! I had seen this gorgeous one that Pam Garrison made and shortly after that I stumbled upon a darling new book which is filled with some adorable projects called, Sew Darn Cute by Jenny Ryan. Jenny suggested using a tea towel as a quick cover to protect your machine and this towel with the embroidery work gave it a similar feel like Pam's.
Here is my tag for week 7 of 52Q - "What would you do if you knew you could not fail?"

I will say the exact same thing as Cindy!
Yes!
I love your sewing machine cozy! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
What adorable tags!!!
Ah I created a similar post not long ago asking what people would do if they could do anything they wanted.
What would I do-
I would quit my day job and open a shop and invite all my blogging friends to stock my shelves with their beautiful creations!
OMG! I love that tag with the bird. You are so darn good at drawing and doodling. There is something so special about your style. It always makes me swoon. You're making me want to practice, practice, practice. Stop it. Must stay focused on my current craft path:)
Now, making a sewing machine cover wouldn't be outside my current craft path and I really need one. I might actually do that:)
